My Project
Life in general is hard sometimes, and it's even harder when you are a student that believes they have nowhere to turn and no one to help them through their difficulties. Mental health is something that our young students have to deal with now that may not be easy for them to cope with. They need support from counselors, teachers, their peers and maybe even professionals in all shapes and forms.
These stickers, fidgets, coloring books and journals will give our students a way to calm their minds, focus on something fun and beautiful to do, and hopefully help them out of their anxiety and worries they might have while at school.
These mental health tools will be distributed to every classroom teacher and counselor so that they have something to share with a student that may be having a rough day. The fidgets and coloring books will hopefully give the students a way to calm themselves down so they don't have to focus on the sources of their anxieties and worries. We are excited to be able to share these resources with the rest of the school! I always tell my students to look for the good in every situation.
