This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is a second home for over 20 students every year. We are busy bees every day. Our class moves, plays, and interacts with a variety of materials throughout the classroom. We utilize flex seating and spend much of our time on the floor where we are most comfortable.
My students need a well cleaned classroom to help us stay happy and healthy in our learning environment.
Unfortunately, due to struggles with staffing, our classroom does not always receive a thorough, daily cleaning. I'd like to be able to help with this by cleaning our classroom on a more regular basis. We are requesting a Bissel steam cleaner to keep our rugs clean, our sofa and recliner clean and to keep our tile floor clean. It will also help to keep the students manipulatives sanitized. When our room is clean, and our bodies are healthy, we can maximize our learning time.
