My students need Alternative seats to focus during class time so they can learn better.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
This class consist of anywhere from 5 to 13 students from various schools and family situations. Our class is a special program called GUS growing up successful. My students are in my behavioral program due to a multitude of behavioral issues and at times become physical in the classroom. Some are considered homeless many are on medication for ADHD and some were born in drug and alcohol situations. They have a difficult time sitting and focusing. These students deserve a variety of seating that can aid in their learning.
I feel that alternative seating will help my students be able to focus better. Many are on medication and have difficulty sitting at a regular desk for hours. Alternative seating would also be an incentive they could earn and that would help with behaviors as well. These students are use to moving around and often times their families can't afford their medicine which makes it even more difficult for them to still and focus. I feel that a variety of seating would be an incentive as well as a fun way to engage them in learning. As adults we dont enjoy sitting in a hard hair cor hours and shouldn't expect kids to.
