My students need alternative seating so they have what works for them and can sit where they need to including the floor using a portable laptop desk.

My Students

I have a classroom of 18 Second graders. I work at at Title 1 school in Central Maine. My students work hard at changing their fixed mindset to have a growth mindset, persevering through their challenges. My students can be truly inspiring with their work ethic and the growth they strive so hard to make. I have a very diverse group of learners, with many different needs. I want to help them meet their goals any way that I can.

My Project

With a room full of 18 students every seat is full! I would like to provide my students with alternative seating so they have the option of working in other areas of the room such as on the floor but with the laptop desk to write on.

I want my students to have the right seating to help them learn and focus!

They can move around with the portable seating and find a nice area or nook to work. Having a wiggle seat would help my students who can't seem to stay in a traditional seat and they can use it on their chair or on the floor.
