it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are energetic and excited about my class: however they are sometimes reluctant to open up in conversation. So alternative seating has encouraged them to feel safe talking.
My classroom allows for students of color to open up and discuss African American and Mexican American culture, history, and racial current events.
This school year, I am looking to update the classroom since some seating items have had wear and tear over the years. I want to make sure my future students feel comfortable and vulnerable in learning thier history.
