This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting for this specific Donors Choose Project will allow me to provide the creative supplies needed for the alternative lunch-space (level Tier I-support, e.g. accessible to all students) to facilitate a relaxing space for students who need it during a increased time for socialization.

Lunch-time can be a stressful time for students who struggle to build connections.

The supplies in this request gives students the opportunity to create during this time, instead of stressing out. The Peaceful Rug further amplifies safe our space. Thank so much for your support!
