Alternate Seating for Different Learners

Help me give my students alternative seating so that they can be given individualized instruction.

My Project

When students learn at their own pace, they retain the skill for much longer. My goal is to have alternate seating, both standing and sitting, to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.

Students are learning Computer Applications culminating in a Food Truck project and Financial Literacy culminating in a board game project.

Both of these are critical skills needed for high school and beyond. By having groupings and seating styles to accommodate all types of learners, more of each skill will be retained.

We are a Title I school and our students deserve the best shot at learning financial literacy/computer apps in my CTE: Business class.

In the next phase, I plan to acquire additional seating, including floor options (bean bags etc) and movement options. My students deserve to have an environment which welcomes their learning style, and I hope you will partner with me to do that!
