My Students

In the town of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, the people are a very tight knit group. The students that go to DWES are with each other from kindergarten all they way through high school graduation because those who start here stay here. The students are very humble kids from a very small rural farm town. It is because of this that they are all very hard workers. Their parents instill this work ethic in them early on.

The students at DWES are a great group of kids that come to school everyday ready to learn.

They are very inquisitive and hands on learners. They are a very fun group of students to work with year in and year out. They are a group of kids that you look at and think, I hope my child turns out like this great kids.

My Project

Students love the ability to sit anywhere in the room and most of the time when given that ability, they choose to not sit at a desk. These chairs and desks allow students to sit in other places like the floor and make it easier for them to get their work done. My students last year always wanted to sit on my counter tops in the back of my classroom. There was very limited space on these counter tops so some students wouldn't be able to use them in a class period.

With these new seat, students will be able to sit in a more comfortable location and this will lead to better productivity in the classroom.

I hope that you choose to donate to my project because I know that these seats will be well used and will serve a great purpose.
