Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are learning about the human muscular system. This 32-part model includes a removable 6-part muscular arm and an 8-part muscular leg, great for our visual and hands on learners.

Our students will find that the skullcap is removable to reveal a bisected brain; the brain is cut along the longitudinal fissure and shows internal structures as well as vasculature.

We will have some brainy disscusions for sure. Then we will discuss how the lungs are bisected and removable to show the bronchial tree and vascular system.

For the cardiovasular system we will note that the 2-part heart is removable (we will examine) and represents the atria, ventricles, valves, and sections of the heart wall.

The liver with gallbladder, 2-part stomach, duodenum with pancreas and spleen, and large intestine are also removable. More lessons and hands on interactions with our inquistive students.

For the teacher and instructional assistance

Anatomical structures are numbered and referenced on the accompanying key card. Rod-mounted on base with casters. Model is just about life size.
