This project is to help build our literacy learning bins. I found some really fun activities for students who are just beginning to learn the alphabet. First is a Skoolzy AlphaTracks Alphabet Race Car Track. Students can move the cars on the mat as well as match the uppercase and lowercase letters together. The second is a Skoolzy Dinosaur Alphabet Puzzle Track, which does the same thing only with dinosaurs. The third set is Unicorn Skoolzy Alphatracks.
Matching letters alphabet puzzles is a great introduction to start building new words.
Once they get better at recognizing the uppercase & lower case letters, they can read & spell by taking them out of sequence to spell basic words like F-U-N! I am also asking for a Phonics Learning Pad for students to practice learning letters and sounds with. Additionally we would like Lakeshore Washable Baby Dolls to read and learn with. We have some stuffed animals but would also love these dolls.
