My students need Alpha Tales Box Set of books, Letter of the week flip chart, letter of the week activity guide and magnets for words on the word wall!
We work extremely hard in our classroom all year to learn the names and sounds of the upper and lowercase letters! I have high hopes that this project will help us even more with our goal!
My students are amazing!
They have a love of learning and a love for each other! I would love to push them as far as they can go before they move on to kindergarten. Having them ready for Kindergarten, will give them a jump start to being a lifelong learner and someone who loves school!
My school is very diverse and it is wonderful! There are so many different cultures, values and beliefs, it is incredible! I love spending time with the students, not just in my class, but the older kids as well; I learn a lot from them! Students as well as teachers look out for each other at school. We are all team players and have each others best interest at heart. I would love to be able to give my students everything to help them succeed inside and outside of the classroom. With these new materials, I can give them a better classroom and new experiences!
My Project
I would love a set of A-Z books that each cover a letter of the alphabet. This will give us repetition of saying the letter and letter sounds over and over again. I have letter poems that we work with that have been helping, but I know books will help us even more. Learning our upper/lowercase letters and sounds is something we work really hard at learning during the year. These materials would really help to give us an extra boost in learning them in a fun way. We recently had a visitor come in and read us a book called " A Book With No pictures" and my students absolutely LOVED IT! I would love to add that book to our classroom library. These materials will be used often throughout the year!
