Alphabet Tiles

Help me give my students these hands-on tiles to practice letters and sounds and make CVC words.

My Project

These Alphabet Letter Tiles will provide my Kindergarten with meaningful, hands-on opportunities to explore letters and sounds. Through daily interaction, students will:

1) Identify and practice letters and sounds in a tactile and visual way.

2) Build and decode CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words

3) Create nonsense words to reinforce patterns and sound manipulation.

4) Understand the essential role of vowels in constructing words.

These tiles will be an integral part of:

Our Phonics Lesson Time – used for guided instruction, blending, and segmenting practice.

The Alphabet Learning Center – where students will independently explore and experiment with word-building.

By engaging with these tiles, students will not only strengthen foundational literacy skills but also develop confidence and joy in reading and wordplay.
