This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come into kindergarten with a vast knowledge of letters and letter sounds. The items I've selected for my project will be fun tools to use in a variety of ways. Many of the items can be used in differentiated ways where students are building the alphabet to building words. The ABC books engage learners in reading and making connections to the letters they are learning. I love seeing a kindergartner make discoveries and connections through hands-on learning opportunities and the items I've selected will do just this! I can't wait to see my kids engaged and excited to learn.
