Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every day, my students come to school with positive attitudes and they are ready to learn. School may look a little different for our new friends this year but together I know we will make it a wonderful experience for the whole group! I truly look forward to seeing them and helping them learn and preparing them for kindergarten.
Our school is located in a low-income area, our students all receive free lunch and snacks every day.
We are always working with our families to ensure our students are getting the necessities in order for them to be successful. No matter what, my students come to school ready to learn their letters, play, read stories, count, and sing songs. It is truly inspiring to watch my students grow and learn throughout the year.
My Project
Our class needs alphabet activities! Every day, we come to school ready to learn our letters and sounds! My students are working hard every day practicing their letters and sounds, however, we need a few more activities that we can use during centers and small group time.
These activities and resources would help our students learn their letters, build social engagement, and improve their fine motor skills as well.
My students are ready to learn how to read, and these resources will help build the early literacy skills needed to become fantastic readers!
