This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been taking a lot of classes about the Science of Reading. It has given me a whole new thought process on how to teach children. I am always looking for new and engaging ways for my students to learn.
These alphabet pop-it arcs align with SOR and will give hours of learning fun for my kindergartners.
My students will be able to use task cards to find letters. They can build CVC words and sight words. My students can also practice writing words in ABC order. The materials are reusable so I won't have to keep making them over and over again so it is good for the environment.
The fact that it is an actual pop-it makes it engaging and fun and the students will want to use them.
