Alphabet Adventure: Hands on Approach to Learning The Alphabet.
Help me give my students a true hands on alphabet experience with these fun literacy tools.

My Project
Alphabet Adventure will give my kindergarten students a hands on approach to learning the alphabet. The students will use the tools to manipulate letters in ways that will enhance student focus and engagement. Increased technology use has decreased fine motor skills in young children. Providing my students with the opportunity to use tools that will strengthen learning and fine motor skills is a valuable asset in a kindergarten classroom.
Research has proven that manipulatives positively impact children’s learning the shapes and names of letters as tangible interfaces.
The tools purchased can address kindergarteners need to move and interact with their environment. Having a class set of magnetic letters would provide each student the opportunity to participate in the learning and increase student engagement. Alphabet adventure is a valuable tool to enhance student learning and would not be possible without the generosity of donors.
