Welcome to my classroom, a place where every learner is celebrated for their unique talents. I have worked to set up a space and provide materials to students that will help reading become an exciting journey. In this innovative project, I hope to merge small group instruction with the joy of reading through the allure of cool learning tools and the comfort of cozy seating .
My goal is to transform reading sessions into dynamic, interactive adventures that captivate young minds and foster a love for literacy.
My students have incredibly diverse needs. With the tools from this project, I will be able to meet students where they are and build on their strengths. The various games and supplies will allow me to engage my students in meaningful ways. This will also allow me to tailor my instruction to focus on the specific needs of each learner. Whether a student requires extra help with decoding words or seeks enrichment opportunities to expand their vocabulary, I will be able to provide them with fun, engaging way to build those skills.
It is important to note that learning is not just about academics—it's also about students emotional well-being. Students need to feel that they are in a safe and supportive space. When they are, they will be more open to working on what is challenging for them and to take on new learning. My goal is to continue to create this space through alternative, cozy seating options.
