Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are some of the most deserving of all of the earth! These scholars are impoverished and their families have experienced many hardships during the early years of their short lives. Nonetheless, these children are quite resilient and incredibly tenacious little learners.

I consider my classroom of scholars, a nice little melting pot.

Within this group of students are African Americans, Europeans, Latinos, Vietnamese, Indian, and Sudanese. We are thoroughly enjoying this diversity within our classroom of future leaders!

My Project

This project will afford my students the opportunity to utilize technology by design and bring our learning experiences to life. Students will benefit from the Cricut Explore Air 2 Cutting Machine as the requested supplies are essential in promoting how students will be able to expound on their learning experiences. The learning outcome and goals for the students is that this material will provide ways to create curriculum additions, like posters, signage, etc.

A new curriculum is being implemented that requires many different additions in order to help make student comprehension more meaningful.

Supplies were not included with the new curriculum, therefore, we must be innovative and create our own personal road map for learning.
