My Project
Next year I will be teaching French again after years of teaching Spanish. In my Spanish classes, we read at least once a week and it has helped many students increase proficiency, confidence, and interest in the language and culture.
With a new French library, students will be so excited, they won't realize that they are learning grammatical concepts and more vocabulary without the use of drill and kill type exercises!
My goal is to create a library similar to the one I use in my Spanish classes. Our new French library will have a range of books to ensure that there is enough variety for students to find a perfect fit book and build the confidence of reluctant readers.
