Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking funding for a project that will bring new and exciting physical education equipment to our school, with a focus on supporting students of all fitness levels and abilities. The goal is to create a more inclusive and engaging P.E. experience where every student feels successful and motivated to participate. With equipment like balance boards, hula hoops, mini trampolines, and fun games such as Left Right Center and interactive nutrition activities, we can offer a variety of options that make movement fun and meaningful. One key addition is nutritional bean bags, which combine physical activity with learning by helping students identify food groups, understand healthy eating habits, and reinforce nutrition education in a hands-on, playful way. These tools not only promote physical health but also teach important skills like balance, coordination, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices. Our students are eager for new ways to move and learn, and I believe they will love the variety and energy these additions will bring to our P.E. program. This project is more than just adding equipment — it’s about creating a positive, supportive environment where every child can grow, play, and thrive.
