All The Way Up to Second Grade!: Station Activities Pt.2
Help me give my students a haul of second and third grade ELA, math, science, STEAM, and social science activities, games, and manipulatives to use in workstations.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I haven't taught second grade in five years. Times and practices have definitely changed and I really want to prepare myself and refresh my 2/3 grade station materials with third grade activities because I always teach ABOVE the level to challenge my kids.
I am asking for numerous manipulatives, tools, small group activities, and learning aids: flashcards, nameplates, place value flip charts, word family wheels, puzzles, globes, phonics centers, writing paper, bingo games, et cetera.
Post-COVID teaching is kind of daunting and I do not want to go into it unprepared. I am big on creating thoughtful and efficacious stations and I believe these items will make them meaningful.
