This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My amazing second-grade class is made up of students from a diverse array of backgrounds. They include English Language Learners and students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, ADHD, BI, and autism. I have students coming from single-parent homes and migrant children living with relatives other than their parents. Despite the challenges most of my students face, I am extremely proud of their efforts and eagerness to learn. In our classroom as well as our school, we strive to provide all students with a quality education in a nurturing environment that helps produce well-rounded individuals ready to contribute to society.
My students are creative, inquisitive, and ready for new challenges.
They love to be involved in school projects and academic competitions including Science Fair, Brainsville, UIL, and coding.
Our school is located a few miles from the international border with Mexico which makes our student population very unique.
My Project
These basketball shirts will help our students in our new basketball club. We have a diverse student population and many students have shown much interest in the basketball club. These practice t-shirts will help create a bond between players.
Having the team look as one will help the team and will boos their confidence!
This new basketball club is a new club on our campus that many students have asked for. This basketball club will include both boys and girls who are in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade and are students with character and grades.
