Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten students need many resources to learn their letters and learn to read. Many of my students come from low-income families which lack educational materials. Due to our limited materials in school, I need good quality resources that can help me teach reading and writing to my students.
This All-In-One Magnetic Phonics Kit is what I have been searching for to help my students read and write.
I have taken several professional development courses on the Science of Reading and this kit will help me implement my learning. I have been making kits similar to these but they are not as complete as this this has it all. I can differentiate my teaching so that my students can have the opportunity to learn. These kits can be used in many ways so that all students have the opportunity to learn to read.
