This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am fortunate enough to teach incredible kids, who unfortunately do not have access to supplies they need. They are kind, hard-working, and truly enjoy learning. The students and I have created a community of learners by getting to know each other through writing and math activities. The students value the diversity in our classroom. My students also understand the power of hard work and a positive growth mindset.

Learning is a lifelong skill.

My students are curious about the world around them. They ask good questions, set a path for knowledge, and then engage in collaborative learning with peers. They are eager to become civic-minded leaders who engage in the community around them.

My Project

Students are so thrilled to be inside a classroom and I want to be able to give them access to everything they need to make their school experience as joyful as they can while they are here with me! My students have been asking for new books for our classroom library for months now, and I want to be able to give them the books they want!! That's where you come in. With your help my students will be able to dive into books that peak their interests as well as challenge them to expand their knowledge.
