Hello, I am a third and fourth grade inclusion teacher at a highly disadvantaged public school in the Bronx. Our classroom has two beautiful computers, but we have no printer! It is extremely difficult to perform activities with the students and to then take the information they find, or create, to a printer elsewhere.
With the donation of a printer, our class would be able to type and publish their final drafts of their papers. They would also be able to print out pictures they create using the computer's art programs, and much, much more!
Having a printer would mean so much to our entire classroom community. My students work so hard each day, despite the lack of resources both in their homes and at school. I would like to be able to provide them with this piece of technology so that they can strive for excellence in their schooling. A printer would benefit each one of my 25 students beyond words, although once they have the printer they could print out letters and pictures showing just how much they appreciate and love having it! Thank you for your help in advance!
