This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We use headphones in my Kindergarten classroom daily. They are a must for students to use during Intervention time and listening to and reading books on our Reading app. However, the protective cases that our district-issued iPads have make it extremely difficult for students to plug in their own headphones and for them to work correctly. The headphone jack will either slip out while in use or the headphones will 'glitch' and the sound will go in and out. I have had to replace countless sets of headphones this year that have broken because the tip of the headphone jack snapped off while the student was plugging it in.

Wireless/Bluetooth headphones would help my Kindergarteners so much!

Having wireless headphones would save so much time with helping 23 students get them plugged in correctly, finding replacements for the ones that constantly glitch and break, and helping everyone untangle the super long cords that most come with.
