This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This assistive device will help non-verbal students communicate their wants and needs throughout the school day. Students will be able to use this device to effectively ask to use the bathroom, say hi to their friends, and let adults know when they are finished with an activity.

All students deserve to have a voice.

This communication device will allow these students who currently do not have an effective means of communication to let us know their wants and needs. This amazing technology will be sure to bring a smile to their faces.
