Help me give my students some of their favorite snacks that they can earn through incentives for behavior, attendance, participation, and meeting their STEP, MAP, and i-Ready assessment goals.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are very high energy and love to play and have fun while learning too. As a community of learners, they are very adamant about supporting one another and working together as a team. Our classroom college name is Cornell University; we take learning very seriously in our class and we often discuss our plans for future education. The students I serve all have high aspirations and I believe that all of them will live up to their fullest potential in life because they have what it takes to do so. It is my hopes to be able to provide them with everything they need to thrive and remove any barriers preventing them from learning.
My Project
I am a teacher of 4th grade and my students are very unique and highly competitive amongst themselves and other school cohorts.
I want to be able to reward and praise them whenever they meet their goals or are recognized for doing something that is honorable and displays one of our five school core values.
My students love to snack and fellowship during lunch so by providing their favorite snacks to earn I feel as though this will help motivate my students to stay working hard and realize when you do good, good will come to you.
I believe those efforts of hard work and dedication should be recognized and praised.
