My Students

My second grade students are happy, motivated, and excited learners who are eager to face the new challenges they'll meet this year. The expectations in second grade are huge, and I am determined to help my little learners succeed in everything they do. Incorporating STEM in the classroom allows students to learn things in a more open ended way, which builds skills that will benefit them out in the real word.

STEM education is both challenging and engaging; it is a crucial component to their education because it helps prepare students for the global workforce.

My Project

The marble and rollercoaster kit will allow students to have hands on experience to help them understand how to design and evaluate, as well as learn how angles affect motion. The "Blocks and Blueprints" kit will challenge students to create different blueprint designs, helping them gain spatial reasoning. The "Exploring Wind and Water Energy" set will introduce the concept of renewable energy in a fun, interactive way.

These materials promote social skills through teamwork and collaboration, give students the opportunity to investigate and build, as well as evaluate different scientific principles.

My students will have an invaluable learning experience through these materials, and I can't wait to give them the chance to challenge themselves.
