My Students

My students are amazing! They surprise me each and every day and keep me learning more for them. We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.

My students are always ready to try something new/ Because of that, I want to be a better teacher everyday.

I want to grow with them!

Our school is over sixty percent free or reduced price lunch recipients, but together our community, parents and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

My Project

We haven't finished this school year and I'm not quite ready to. In our nine months together my students have awed and amazed me. I have grown to love them as their teacher and we have grown into a family. But, our time is growing short. I have to release them to fourth grade. I know they are ready and I am so excited to watch them grow even more.

Next fall I will get a new group of amazing third grade students.

I will gain a relationship with each of them. We will grow into a family and we will have our own adventures.

In the fall students bring in school supplies. This task can be daunting for some families. The amount of supplies needed for a year can often be long. This project would release some of the pressure of that supply list. We use composition notebooks on a daily basis for language concepts, writing, science notes, and math strategies. We use pencils most hours of the day. The Expo markers would be used for our daily practice in math and our brainstorming in ELA.

Thank you for helping to lighten our school supply list in the fall. I know that by freeing up these items, families can use these funds to purchase new school clothes! I can't wait to meet my new school family!
