My students are always amazing! They surprise me each and every day and keep me learning more for them. We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.
My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day.
I want to grow with them! Our school includes over 60% free or reduced-price lunch recipients, but together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
My Project
We haven't finished this school year. It has been an interesting end to the school year. This year we have grown into a family and I love each one of them. They each have such unique characteristics and are each so very special. But, our time is growing short. I have to release them to fourth grade. I am so excited to watch them grow even more.
Next fall I will get a new group of amazing third grade students.
I will gain a relationship with each of them. We will grow into a family and we will have our own adventures.
In the fall students bring in school supplies. This task can be daunting for some families. The amount of supplies needed for a year can often be long. This project would release some of the pressure of that supply list. We use composition notebooks on a daily basis for language concepts, writing, science notes, and math strategies. We use pencils most hours of the day. The pens would be used for creating amazing writing works!
The Expo markers and erasers are new for us this year because students will need to each have their own in order to stay the safe while using them.
Thank you for helping to lighten our school supply list in the fall. I know that by freeing up these items, families can use these funds to purchase other needed items!
