Help me give my students a color, lively, and immediate learning experience by having a color printer in the classroom, which will help them dig deeper making learning relevant, hands-on and real life!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are Title I distinguished school, offering an extended day, extended year program which emphasizes project based and interdisciplinary learning. Our school initially was a team-taught sixth and seventh grade class and now has been transitioned as an established middle school with around 270 students and 15 faculty members.
My students are talented, hard working, minority students from economically disadvantaged families.
These students come with hopes and dreams; some planning to go to college as first generation from their family. They are enthusiastic, community involved, with the right mind set to be leaders of tomorrow! With the right teachers, learning environment, parent and staff support; we have seen how successful these students can be.
In my 7th grade Science classroom, I want learning to be exciting, inquisitive, hands-on, inquiry based, student-led, engaging and relevant. This donation will take us a step closer to our goal of students success!
My Project
The need of a color printer in my classroom is very high. For every copy to be made, they have to be either first printed out or transferred to flash drive; before they can be taken to copy room to make copies. Some times as teachers, we end up going multiple times to the copy room, just to find that you have to wait as there are others before you. Color copies also gives a new enthusiasm to my Science classroom activities, as I feel some of the labs/hands-on become more livid and real life when they are shown in the original natural color. Having a printer in my own classroom will help me save time & use it for immediate learning for my students!!
