My students need beginning orchestra method books: 6 for bass, 14 for cello, 8 for viola, and 60 for violin. I prefer "All for Strings" Book 1 published by Kjos.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Join an orchestral urban renewal! We are beginning to offer orchestra classes again for a new generation of high school students. The students, grades 9 - 12, are a diverse group racially and ethnically, and are unified by their desire to learn to play violin, viola, cello, and bass.
Our old school instruments have been repaired and additional new instruments purchased. We have also received donations of several violins, cellos, and instrument cases. We have some method books on hand, but not enough for every student to have their own.
Our two orchestras need method books. I prefer "All for Strings" Book 1 published by Kjos. We have some on hand but need an additional 60 for violins, 8 for violas, 14 for cellos, and 6 for bass.
You remember how much fun you had in your high school band or orchestra. The skills you didn't realize you were acquiring-teamwork, self discipline, initiative, and cultural appreciation-serve you well in any profession. Please consider funding my students so that they too can gain these valuable skills and the satisfaction of performing music that they'll cherish the rest of their lives.
