All feelings are ok . Let’s learn about how to manage our emotions and what we can do to when we have big feelings.
The social-emotional library is a space I want to build in our calm room.
The goal is to make it welcoming and comfortable while providing a space to learn and grow. The kids visiting the room have a wide age range and needs, but supporting those and teaching them ways to manage feelings and emotions is the best way to support learning.
The rug will provide a cozy spot for sitting and divide the space. The activities books and cards are going to be used as tools for learning new ways to cope with big feelings.
