My Students

My students come from a very diverse set of homes, some with access to basic needs and much lacking access to even a pencil to write with. A lack of supplies should not be what keeps a child from learning.

My students love technology!

They are at an exciting time in their lives. I have many students who have a desire to further what they are learning in the classroom and a desire to try new things. My students are willing to do what they need to in class but sometimes come without basic supplies due to a lack of funds at home.

My Project

My students and I need a way to charge several calculators at one time. We have a total of 5 plugs in our classroom. Even with powerstrips, charging several calculators at once is impossible due to a lack of space. We need these charging stations that will allow us to charge up to 10 calculators at a time. Our current charging stations have quit working.

A charging station is an ideal way to charge several calculators at one time.

My students will use the charging stations to charge their calculators each day. The charging station would help save us time and frustration by charging multiple calculators. Please consider helping us fund a few charging stations for our classroom.
