All Boxed Up Tight and Ready to Learn!

Help me give my students a mobile and organized space to keep their book boxes. A Flex-Space Mobile Storage Bin Center will provide the perfect spot for my students to store their supplies.

My Students

I am pleased to introduce my happy and inquisitive classroom of first graders! Students in my class are between the ages 6-7 and are full of wonder and enthusiasm for learning. It has been my delight to experience working with this young age group. Anxious to please, these first graders work hard, and love to be actively participating throughout instruction time. My goal is to bring enjoyment and smiles to their little faces, as we work together to progress this year.

My Project

Organizing and containing student learning materials can be quite the task! To avoid overcrowding inside their desks, book box containers have been provided to help organize student reading and writing notebooks, individual library books, pencil box supplies, and other resources. Our class has been storing their individual book boxes on top of the coat rack shelf. When materials are needed for instruction, students go to the coat rack shelf and often stand on their tippy toes to reach their book box to retrieve their supplies. This often results in tipped over boxes and scattered belongings.

A mobile shelf that is student-height, will allow my first graders to neatly store their materials, and to access their book boxes without spilling their supplies.

This will result in less frustration for my students, and fewer valuable teaching minutes wasted. Thank you for your support and consideration!
