My Students

Some call us engineers while others call us innovators, but we don't mind you, just thinking of us as the "Knights in Coding Armor!"

Our school is a new STEM school rich in PBL and community.

We are a public, magnet school offering a unique curriculum rich in "doing" and based on experiences. Our empowering atmosphere has attracted students from miles around, but what's most special is that we are located in the heart of a diverse community that is categorized as being the most in need of high-quality education. Students at our school come from a wide range of backgrounds, and we are proud that we are able to support and nurture innovative STEM education.

Your support helps us continue to offer an education built for the workforce of tomorrow using the skills and techniques that will be required in the most sought after careers.

My Project

This project will fund and laboratory experience for all of our sixth grade students in our STEM-rich learning environment. The durable materials will last for many years ensuring that this project will help provide real-world learning for many, many students.

Living at altitude, we're even more exposed to the sun's damaging rays!

Through this STEM activity, our learners will explore how sunscreen and other UV protectants help guard against the sun's dangerous influence while our students develop their foundation and understanding of the scientific inquiry process that will help guide their learning. Additionally, our students will learn about the importance of protecting themselves from the damaging effects of the sun.
