My Project
Hi, my name is Ms. Evelyn, and I am the School Social Worker for Dunbar High School, located in Fort Myers, Florida. As the School Social Worker, I have noticed an increased need for food, school supplies, hygiene products, and clothes from our students and their families. As a result, I have decided to renovate our food pantry and clothes closet, but our school needs your help!
My students are more likely to come to school and be engaged and productive when there are resources on campus to assist with barriers such as food insecurity and personal maintenance.
In order to expand and better organize our food pantry and closet, we are in need of items such as heavy-duty shelves and large plastic bins. At the moment, our school does not have enough funding to assist with purchasing these items, so I am reaching out to the community.
Any help and support you can provide would be greatly appreciated! For more information, feel free to email me at evelynphi@leeschools.net.
