My Project

Everyday students eagerly walk into the music classroom wondering if they will play instruments. I want to put their minds at ease with a new bass xylophone. Students in first and second grades will begin performing skills from the Mallet Madness resource. However, mallet percussion instruments are required for these students to have the full Mallet Madness experience. With your help, my students will be fully immersed in a percussion ensemble and create wonderful music.

One of the best ways to learn music is by performing music.

With the Mallet Madness resource and your help in funding these percussion instruments, my students will grow musically. When an Orff instrument is incorporated into a music classroom, music becomes a sensory experience where children utilize improvisation to foster creativity.

My students will use this xylophone to learn to play rhythms, as well as melody and harmony. Students will develop aural skills, fine motor skills, work as a team, and experience music hands on.

Your generous donation will help students become more connected to music. With the purchase of this bass xylophone, you are giving students a chance to perform music. You are making sure each child has a turn to grow creatively.
