My Project
At our elementary school, we have wonderful students who are eager to learn about music. Many of our 350 Kindergarten through 5th grade students come from low-income/high poverty households. Playing instruments together will help our students to work together as a team and foster a sense of school community.
Due to current budget limitations, our music budget has decreased but our need for various instruments to teach and support our curriculum has remained the same.
The xylophones would allow students to reinforce their music literacy skills, as well as improve their improvisation skills in a fun and engaging way. By having these three xylophones added to the two we already have students will have more time playing and practicing our concepts and less time waiting their turn.
