I teach in a room that also doubles as our safe shelter in the school. We have a good amount of space and room to have lots of fun even without having a gym to do so.
Our young students are always full of energy and looking for new and exciting ways to have fun.
They are learning the importance of being kind, responsible and respectful. They love to grow and learn in all sorts of ways, and each student is unique in their own way. We are looking for new inventive ways to have fun and explore movement.
They love to be hands-on and we are trying to find other ways that are out of the normal box to have fun, manipulate and explore.
My Project
Here we are still looking for some more great ideas and new opportunities that the students here have either rarely experienced, or they get to experience for the very 1st time.
Gaga ball is a great game where everyone can play, regardless of skill level.
Using modifications in our game, no one is "eliminated" so once they are tagged out, they do 10 of an exercise and then they jump right back in. This way, their activity time is maximized and they all continue to have fun.
Help bring the magic and game of Gaga Ball to our students. They no doubt will enjoy something special like this.
