My Students
The future of the world is inside my kindergarten classroom! My students are smart, respectful, persistent, inventive, curious, and kind. They are a group of boys and girls from Miami, Florida who are eager to learn about the world around them.

My Project
Our class has been following a pair of eagles, Samson and Gabrielle, through a live camera (https://nefleaglecam.org/). The eagle couple has laid two eggs and we are planning to follow their journey! We are so excited to watch the eagles incubate the eggs, watch them hatch, and watch the eaglets mature!
I want to to bring a piece of the outdoors inside our classroom!
With these bird feeders that cling to the window, our students will have the opportunity to watch birds eat in real time. It will also allow them to get a closer look at a bird's anatomy at a distance where both the bird and student are safe.
The benefits of bird watching for kids are endless!
This study will inspire a love of the environment, encourage empathy for living things (big and small), and will provide countless educational opportunities.
