All Aboard The Alphabet Express! Chugga Chugga Choo Choo Off We Go! Throughout the school year, my Preschool Intervention Class focuses on the letters of the alphabet. I teach 16 highly demanding 3 & 4 year olds. The class is a combination of typical peers and developmentally delayed students with varying disabilities.

I am always searching for new and exciting materials to help teach and to promote optimal learning experiences for my class. My student's interest is often hard to maintain, however, with colorful, fun and hands on materials they thrive! With the availability of such teaching materials the learning opportunities are endless.

I am requesting a wooden alphabet train that will enable them to load up the cars with manipulatives to explore letter-sound correspondence, hitch them together to sequence the alphabet, and mix & match the cars to spell simple words! In addition, the Letter Of The Day Chart comes with tons of materials that explore each letter, including fun-filled chants, photo cards, and tracing cards too! All organized and easily accessible for my students to experience on a daily basis.

Your help will ensure that my students have access to materials that are visually stimulating and reinforce their learning of the ABC's. The first step to reading is learning to recognize the letters of the alphabet and their sounds. Hop aboard the Alphabet Express and your gift will certainly make this possible!
