Help me give my students an alphabet train floor puzzle! Now we'll know our ABC's!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Tuck's classroom raised $315

My Students
Our Norfolk, Virginia pre-K students are amazing and resilient! We are located in a dedicated military town. All students have risk factors that qualify them for our program. I see the sparkle in their eyes when they login into the computer. Distance teaching is challenging, but with hands-on materials, we can help them thrive!
My Project
Giving our Pre-K students an alphabet train floor puzzle to use at home during virtual teaching will help them replicate the Pre-K classroom experience. Having quality materials at home is a challenge for many of our students.
We will put the puzzle together as a group!
I will hold up a letter to the computer screen. Then, the students will find the letter and fit the pieces together. I'll ask, what letter comes next?
Puzzles help children with problem solving skills that so many of them need as a foundation to learning. Puzzles are also good for their fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills. Children feel such pride when they complete a puzzle!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
