Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the Reading Intervention teacher at my school, I help the students who are struggling to learn to read, and inspire them to love reading for a lifetime. Each year, I create a beautiful classroom environment with a different theme that excites them and makes them love coming to Intervention. This year's theme is "All Aboard for Reading Adventures," and features maps and decorations from all over the world. The classroom library features a giant world map and will highlight wonderful stories from many different countries. Our school body is made up of mostly new immigrants or first-generation students. Every country my students come from will be represented by at least one book.

You can help inspire struggling readers with this international collection of books to add to my library.
