My Project
I am a fourth grade teacher at a Title I school, where students come from low-income households, and where all students receive free lunch. We also participate in the backpack program which supplements their food supply at home. My students are unique, talented, and eager to learn, but often lack the means to purchase learning supplies.
In order for my fantastic fourth graders to be away from their desks and still have a surface on which to write, they need dry erase clipboards.
These dry erase clipboards provide the necessary learning mobility that students need, enabling them to explore different parts of our classroom (including our word wall area, and our smartboard/newline board area where they view and interact with most of my lesson presentations). It also helps me to create diverse and engaging learning experiences outside of the classroom without the limitation of always needing a desk.
