Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items on my project would be perfect for helping my students better understand the foundations of algebra. They would help them build on how to multiply algebraic expressions. The algebra tiles, for example, would provide my students with a visual of the algebraic expression in front of them. Then, if they needed to multiply it, we could see it visually, helping students fully understand what they are doing!

The protractor and angles will also help to make the learning come to life.

Each item is added to the project to help my students engage in a more hands-on approach to learning and to make math come to life!
