My Students
I teach an upper-level mathematics course, and the classes are filled with brilliant young minds who are eager to learn. They challenge me to share my knowledge and experiences with them so they can have the opportunity to be exposed to things that will help them serve as pillars of the community. Most of them have part-time jobs already and look forward to serving as valuable assets to the community, giving back what was given to them.
My students are extremely inquisitive!
They need to know, "Why?", and "How?", and what can they do to improve the status quo? They are diligent and hard-working and have a strong desire to gain the tools necessary to help them become successful.
My Project
As my students' teacher, it is my job to provide them with engaging lessons and practice what I taught. I offer remediation and enrichment activities for students, especially those who struggle in math or may have little to no help outside of the classroom. It is important to give my students an ample amount of time to practice and grasps the concepts.
I want to meet the needs of all my students no matter their learning level.
Getting Teacher Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me the opportunity to purchase the "All Things Algebra" bundle and give my students enrichment and remediation activities they can do inside and outside the classroom. The resources provide clear, concise examples and exercises to assist students who may not have gotten it in class. It will also offer enrichment activities for the more advanced students. They become bored quickly while waiting on the other students to grasp the information from day one of Algebra through Advanced Mathematics.
