This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are students with disabilities and they are always hungry to learn to their best abilities and they want to just be like their few classmates. They always want to try new things and they are excited to be learning Algebra I. They will be sitting for their New York State Algebra I Regent exam for the first time. They are using technology of all types.
My students will benefit by receiving calculators to use in the classroom and to use on their Algebra Regents Exam in June 2023.
I know with the use of the calculators, my students will be blessed to learn and succeed in their math class now, and in the future. My school is a Title One school in New York City. I know that teachers always spend money on school supplies and food for our students. The kids will be truly blessed if they received the calculators to help build their self-esteem in math class. The calculators will help the "I can attitude" they need to believe in themselves. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for hopefully, fulfilling my request.
