Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Incoming freshman and sophomores will be completing a four weeklong Algebra Academy to not only prepare them for our high school’s climate and culture but also to introduce students to math programs like MESA, Mathletes, and Mu Alpha Theta.
It is imperative that incoming students acclimate to a new school in a fun environment with passionate teachers and excited student mentors.
Our Algebra Academy is a four weeklong program and students will be with us for six hours daily; mid-morning and afternoon snacks will help students stay focused and motivated!
